| Article I: Name This club shall be known as The Holland Lop Club of Kentucky (HLCK). Article II: Object The objects of this club shall be to encourage the breeding and exibiting the Holland Lop rabbit by hosting shows, promoting our breed to the general public and offering support and assistance to our member. This club shall be a nonprofit organization. Article III: Affiliation This club shall affiliate with The American Rabbit Breeder's Association Inc.(ARBA) , Kentucky State Rabbit Breeder Association (KSRBA) and The Holland Lop Rabbit Specialty Club (HLRSC). Article III: Membership Any person who is in accord with the objectives of this club may apply for membership. A filled application form along with payment of at least one year's membership dues should be submitted to the Board for consideration. An applicant will be accepted for membership if a majority of the board members vote to accept the applicant. If an applicant is not accepted, his/her dues will be returned in full. Article IV: Board Members Section I: The Board of this club shall consist of a President, Vice President, Secretary/Treasurer, and minimum of (3) Directors. All initial board members shall be appointed by founders, Caroline Dix and Keat Hor, of this club. Section II: Vacancies in any position shall be filled by appointment of the Board. Section III: The terms of office for any Board members shall have no time limit. Article V: Dicipline The Board may by majority vote, expel any member or reject an application for membership or renewal. The lack of good sportsmanship or other actions detrimental to the objectives of the club will likewise be grounds for expulsion. Article VI: Meetings A regular meeting may be held in person or online at any time during the year. Time, place or method to be determined by the Board. Article VII: Amendments This constitution may be amended by majority of the Board. Any club members may submit to the Board a resolution or an amendment to the Bylaws for consideration. Article VIIII: Dues Section 1: The Board shall recommend any changes to Membership dues. Such dues shall include single membership and family membership. Section 2: All memberships must be renewed before Jannuary 1 of each year. Section 3: Members who have not paid their dues by January 30 shall forfeit their membership. Section 4: The Secretary/Treasurer shall levy a fee to be set by the Board for any check submitted by a member that is returned by the bank for any reason whatsoever. This fee will be in addition to any fees charged by the said Bank. Back to Main Page |
